Check this website for notices
about mosquito sparying in your area. We will make all attempts to post our spray schedule and a map on our website of the spray areas 24 hours in advance of the application. You can also sign up to receive spray notifications.
Remain indoors if you prefer
when mosquito spraying is taking place, though this is not necessary.
Pets may be brought inside
but will be safe if they stay outside. Be sure to bring in any food or water bowls and cover ornamental fishponds during mosquito spraying to avoid direct exposure.
If you come in direct contact
with pesticides, wash well any exposed skin surfaces with soap and water.
Outdoor tables, furniture, toys
& play equipment can also be covered or rinsed off with water following the application, but this isn't necessary since this pesticide begins to degrade with exposure to air and light.
Bring laundry inside
before mosquito spraying begins. If these items are exposed, they may be washed again in soap and water.
Wash any exposed fruits or vegetables
under running water, as you normally would, before eating. Washing fruits and vegetables with soap, detergent, or commercial produce wash is not necessary.
For your safety and the safety of our spray truck operators:
- Do not approach or walk up to a spray truck.
- If you are walking and you see a spray truck approaching, please make yourself visible to the driver and begin walking in the direction the truck is heading. Spray truck drivers are trained to turn off the spray. Please note that the spray motor may still be running, but product will not be sprayed. The driver will let you take an alternative route before spraying.
- If you are in your car, do not follow a spray truck when it is operating. If you are in a vehicle, wait for the truck to pass or find an alternate route.
